This was our first time doing stand up paddle boarding so we took lessons here. It was tons of fun and Linden did a great job teaching us how to do it correctly. My wife stayed dry throughout the whole time. I fell in at the end... Wah Wah waaaaahhhhh.

We did not go on the guided tour -- but we did rent a kayak from their Kapa'a shop. They were not very professional, even by laid-back Hawaii standards. You put in your kayak on the hanalei river and can go south up the river into the wildlife refuge or north to the river mouth in hanalei bay.
