It was expensive but well worth the cost. There are plants nearly extinction being propogated for future generations. The guide was both very knowledgeable and informative. The rich history and design of the gardens are well preseverved. You drop into a fertile valley of magnificant flora.

The botanical garden on the lush island of Kauai was almost like walking back in time. Some of the plants and or tree's looked fake, only because they looked either to perfect or to weird. The colors were just as beautiful as we'd expected to see on the beautiful Island of Kauai. If you have at least an hour to... More

This is always on our list of things to do for visitors here on the island. Nearly always, they claim it was the highlight. What a treasure for Kauai!

Our guide walked through the place too quickly, did not allow those that wanted to take pictures a few minutes more and would not allow visitors to pick to taste the fruits on the fruit trees. I complained and was told we could've picked and tried the fruits.

Loved the tram ride with the historical commentary, and the self-guded tour through the gardens was breathtaking. Loved it.

Was neat to see the tropical plants.. would have preferred to be able to walk about ourselves at our own pace and explore. Expensive for the tour, but goes to a good cause.
