Captain Makai took out 3 couples in our party today and he not only showed us a great time.....but he is an EXCELLENT captain on rough seas!!! The way he manuevered the wakes was amazing. He is also extremely friendly and has lots of knowledge that he freely shares. For just a few dollars more per person in our group... More

This is one of the best and most fun things we did on our vacation. Makai and Tone were easy going and very knowledgable. We were able to capture once in a lifetime pictures and see things you only think are possible on a movie screen. We were able to follow dolphins! Swim with sea turtles and take in the... More

We took a boat to the coast, and the views of the cliffs are amazing. Definitely go see this!

There were 5 of us including a kid of 5 year who went on this ocean tour. We had already seen the Napali coast by air and it was quite a different and wonderful experience seeing it by water, one that should not be missed. The Boat is very small, able to take a max of 6 passengers. The seating... More

Twenty to thirty spinner dolphins surrounded our boat and swam along with us as we made our way to the Na Pali Coast on Makai's comfortable boat. The water was a crystalline turquoise, and calm as could be when it was time to snorkel. The six of us enjoyed our trip very much and got some great pictures.

The views were unbelievable, we got right inside a couple of sea caves, Makai is a great driver and the small group size was nice. I do have to say the ocean was a lot rougher than I expected, but I am a nervous nelly. My husband loved the waves, so I guess it depends on your personality. Makai is... More

Na Pali Makai is a great way to experience the Na Pali Coastline by boat. This coastline can be seen only by air or by boat. There are some sea caves that only a small boat can enter and Na Pali Makai is the perfect way to enter these formations unless you are on a Kayak or raft tour. I... More

We decided to book a trip with Na Pali Makai during our Hawaiian vacation this summer and our entire family is so glad we did! This was the highlight of the trip for all of us which included our 3 and 8 year olds who absolutely loved the boat ride! Our 3 year old still calls his bath toy boat... More

OVERALL: LOVED the tour with Na Pali Makai!!! I've hiked Kalalau trail and seen the coast via helicopter but this experience was breathtaking and not to be missed! Not only does Makai take you into caves and past secluded beaches but you get up close and personal with dozens of spinner dolphins and sea turtles! CAPTAIN: Makai has years of... More

Disclaimer: We were on a family trip w/ parents and 3 adult children (me being one of them). (So, no teenagers given the limited options of Trip Advisor.) This is probably the BEST way to experience the Na Pali coast. Makai was an excellent captain who brought us to amazing sites. We saw dolphins playing in the water, sea turtles,... More
