We just returned from our third trip to Kauai and each visit we make sure that we stop at Banana Joes Fruitstand for some apple banana's, smoothies, locally made roasted nut mixtures, and wonderful granola mixes for breakfast. When we were there (twice in two days) they had "smoothies" from 3 different fruits and also banana "frosties". They do change the fruits from day to day, and they said that some of the fruits used in the drinks are grown there on site. The smoothies were maybe 2-3 different sizes up to about a 12 or 16 ouncer... more

The smoothies there are pretty good, though it wasn't as cold as I thought a smoothie should be. I had a better smoothie at the Beach House restaurant if you happen to go there... they called it the Beach House Smoothie. We did buy some good apple bananas there, and they also sell Hawaiian fudge, but I didn't get any. more
