Stevenson's Library is a beautiful bar with rich wood paneling, indoor and outdoor sitting, billiard tables, and live music. The bartenders shake delicious drinks and their lychee martinis are to die for. There is also food, so one can have supper along with drinks and entertainment. They serve great sushi Friday through Monday, and there is also a pretty good... More

Oh MY! We spent a week at the Hyatt, and two evenings hit the Library for an early (early) light dinner and drink... They had the best poke and sushi options - the poke was unbelievable good! The waiter suggested a Lychee Martini, and it was fantastic. We had the deck overlooking the Hyatt lagoon and gardens all to ourselves....... More

Had a good time catching up with some buddies here. Had a couple of Mai Tais and Pupus. Definitely inflated prices but it is a hotel bar afterall. The drinks were good and the waitress attentive. Had a good time. Was a bit loud inside with the live music so we sat on the open patio.

Not a very library like atmosphere and not very Hawaiian either . . . if it had been anywhere else but on an island, I probably would have given it at least three stars, but it had no "aloha" feel whatsoever. And as far as library goes, the quiet one expects from such an establishment was anything but with an... More

Signature drinks are fun and I enjoyed the sushi. No reservations accepted, so get there early so you can get a table outside. Lovely views of the beach.

Best sushi - but only Fri-Mon- at the Hyatt, yet sitting on the lanai of the Library felt world's away from the busyness of the hotel below. Wonderful service and menu.

The sushi is wonderful; some of the best I've ever had. (One caveat: do not have the "beef special sushi" as it is not that good.) However, the Library was rather loud, and this was before the band started. If you like a lively place, you will enjoy this place. If you want a more quiet, intimate spot, look elsewhere.

A fun group looking for some live music. The waitress snubbed her nose at us and made us feel very unwelcome.

We live in Koloa/Poipu and decided to move our little party of 5 down to Stevenson's LIbrary to end the evening on Saturday night. I had the $13 Tai Chi -- their version of the Mai Tai. My boyfriend does not drink so he ordered a $10 oreo milkshake and $6.50 fries. It was nothing special and way over priced... More

Stick to the drinks, Sushi is overpriced and nothing special. The beef satay is very good but again at $16 for 4 small kabobs- makes it not impressive. due to the prices, stevenson library= dissapointing
