We really enjoyed the plantation tour and learning the history of the surrounding area. The $20 per person recommended donation is well worth the price. Do call for reservations. The cookies and mint tea are wonderful.

We stopped here for lunch coming down from Waimea Canyon. It was wonderful - pretty seating, nice breeze, good food, good drinks. We walked thru the place and sat on a porch in rockers looking down at the beach. Then walked down to the beach past vacation rental cottages. Very pretty location. I would definetly consider visiting there again.

Unfortunately, we were unable to visit Grove Farm Homestead because tickets were gone for the week when I called on Monday morning. If interested in visiting Grove Farm Homestead, you may want to consider calling for tickets a week before.

It's like you pretty much travel back in time to learn about the Wilcox Estate. The guides are all knowledgeable and friendly. The property is gorgeous! Wear shoes that come off easily (sandals and such) because you have to take them off to enter the home!

Some of our best interior pictures come inside Grove Farm. It’s a nice visit. You can see everything inside an hour.
