We bought tickets to see the grounds before the luau, we had plenty of time to take the train and have dinner. We took our mai tias with us on the train. The young man giving the commentary was informative and funny, it was interesting seeing the fruit trees and the animals. We were curious to see how papayas are... More

We decided to take the 4 hour tour of train and walking. It turned out to be a great choice. After a short train ride and some time to stop and feed the wild pigs, goats, and sheep, 6 of us stayed behind for the lengthy tour and the rest road on to finish out the train ride. We had... More

We went on a cloudy day with a 4 year old into trains so it had to be fun anyway. The ride was about 45 minutes and there was some interesting facts along the way about the history of the area as well as facts about the vegetation and animals on the island (who new that 95% of the vegetation... Not the greatest, but for the price was fun. Somewhat educational. Not too expensive. Enjoy.

This is a 45min railway tour around a farm. They talk about history of Kauai and things that unique to Kauai...Wild Chickens. We stop midway to feed chickens and pigs up close.

We stopped here on our last day we we had a late flight and were looking for something to waste some time near the airport. $18 was pretty expensive for a 40 min. train ride and they push for tips as well (half of which you are stopped to feed pigs and goats). Due to the season most of the... More

My 2 year old loved this train ride. It was semi enjoyable for the adults. It's about 40 minutes and you stop to feed animals along the way. There is a cute souvenier store on the property and we bought plenty from the the Koloa Rum Factory which is also on the property. My husband did the the rum tasting... More

We just did the short train ride before the luau we went to there. Our one year old loved the train ride and just standing and looking out everything was exciting for him. The stop feeding the animals was definatly a highlight as our kiddo loves animals of any kind. I thought our guide had some interesting information about the... More
