Very secluded due to the lack of parking (and general lack of publicity/awareness), excellent snorkeling due to the variety of life and terrain just below the surface of the water, beautiful setting/foliage/cliffs nearby and in the distance, lots of surfers and paddle boarders to watch.

This beach is right beside the St. Regis and has much better snorkeling than the beach inside the resort. It is a steep climb to get down to the beach but well worth the effort!

This beach is located close to the St. Regis hotel, and is very secluded and relaxing. Great sand, good views, and good waves for surfers in the winter. Beautiful small beach with golden sand. Access from Pu'u Po'a complex down a very steep set of steps with handrails and ropes--I wouldn't venture this if it were wet and slippery but we saw a few surfers climbing down carrying surfboards, so it must not be a very tough trail if you are strong and agile. The hike was amazing, so much to see and take in. The view of the coastline was breathtaking. The beach was really nice as well.

My husband and I stopped by this beach one day while touring the North Shore of Kauai. It ranks up there with Tunnels and Hanalei. It’s a tough climb down to the beach but it is definitely worth the effort. The St Regis has taken most of the parking so you might have to keep checking the small lot for the right day to go down to the beach. The trail begins next to Pali Ke Kua condos.
