For 125 for twilight prices, the course is extremely overpriced for what you get. If it was not for the views and staff this course would deserve a zero for its poor fairways and greens...I have truly played over 12 muni courses this year which are 2 to 3 x on avg better than the Prince course...Fairways are missing grass... more

I'm part of an annual ladies golf trip to Hawaii for the past 15 years. We finally played the much anticipated Princeville. What a complete disappointment. From arrival to departure the staff was generally uninterested. No one at the drop off; we finally unloaded our own bags and someone eventually showed up to take them. Insufficient info on the course... more

After several trips to Kauai, I finally made it to the vaunted Prince course in early March 2009. After reading all the "Top 100 you can play" (even top 25!) placings that this course has garnered, I expected to be blown away. I was very bummed to see that the Prince's sister courses (Makai-27holes) were closed for renovation. The Makai... more

I have been going to the Princeville area for yrs playing the Princeville Prince course. 'While the Prince course continues to be one of the best designs in the world the condition seems to be on a slippery slope downhill. The fairways and tee areas are in such bad condition that you are forced to hit off of dirt/red mud.... more

It was our first visit to Kauai and wherever I travel I like to play at the various courses. Im a strong player as a low single and try to stay away from reviews based on how I played. We decided to play all three major courses on the island as well as the Municipal. We shaved this for last... more

This course is a must play, the best course on the island but you pay a premium green fee. I've played every course in Kauai except the 9-holer, and found The Prince to be in the best condition and the most challenging. more

$70 for twilight round/cart/balls at Princeville? It's a no-brainer. I played in July 2008. This course has everything. Beautiful views, challenging holes, well-kept course, great service. I also played Poipu and Wailua, and this was the best by far. I don't see how some people have said Poipu is more beautiful. Sure, the last few holes are cool by the... more

What a great course.! It's a challenging blend of target golf and links. The course is in great shape. The staff was friendly and willing to take a few minutes and chat. This being my first time playing the course, that was very helpful. They gave me as many course tips as my brain could hold, greens break toward Bali... more

I played the course in April of this year, and just wanted to support tom60622's claim on the course conditions. I was pretty shocked that they had the nerve to charge $200 for a greens' fee considering the conditions. I also found the fairways to be littered w/ crab grass and weeds and the greens had several brown, dead spots.... more
