'While the Prince course continues to be one of the best designs in the world the condition seems to be on a slippery slope downhill. I played the course in April of this year, and just wanted to support tom60622's claim on the course conditions. I was pretty shocked that they had the nerve to charge $200 for a greens' fee considering the conditions. I also found the fairways to be littered w/ crab grass and weeds and the greens had several brown, dead spots.... more

Horrible. Just Horrible. I've played many 'top tier' courses and expected to be able to compare the Princeville courses to those. Boy was I wrong. Just returned to the mainland 03/04/07. My son and I played the "Prince Course" and I can honestly say that the course is not as described by the raters from 2005. Wonderful course. Greens were in good shape, course is beautiful but difficult. A must-play in Kauai. We also played Poipu Bay which was less difficult. Princeville is more scenic as well. more
