I really enjoy going to see the movies at the Waimea theater. I feel very comfortable and enjoy the friendly atmosphere. If you haven't tried the popcorn - you're missing out on a special treat - real butter! I'm disappointed to see that the number of showings have decreased. I hope this is only temporary. A restored, 1930s, art deco theater. Go on Wed or Thurs night to see a good movie (often) and meet the regulars. Small town America the way it used to be, except the seats are more comfortable. Great place on this planet. more
