This is the ruins of a fort built in 1815 by Russians in Kauai. It, and the Russian presence in Hawaii didn't last particularly long; the fort was dismantled in 1864. All that is left is a few low rock walls, and some intepretative signs. The ground is strewn with boulders, so watch your step. Currently, an ADA Barrier Removal... more
