They found their home and moved to Lanai to retire. Retirement didn't last. A few years later, outgoing Barry and Suzie started searching for unusual, finely crafted teak and exotic wood sculptures and carvings. Along the way, they took a shine to mobiles and wind chimes -- the more outrageous, the better. Then they started collecting handmade jewelry, stained glass, and unique garden ornaments and home decor. All this led to this eclectic store, which you have to see to believe. Meeting Barry is worth the trip alone. You'll find designer jewelry,1000's of windchimes, crystals and gongs, whimsical dragonfly lamps, handcarvings , and fabulous home and garden decor. This is also the biggest collection of Hawaiian slippah necklaces, earrings, anklets, and bracelets. You can't miss the vivid green shop with hanging chimes and mobiles leading the way to the front door, with their mascot '59 Nash Metropolitan "chuggo" sitting proudly outfront.~Find us on Facebook~Aloha! « less

This is the best place to buy souvenirs from Lanai. Beautiful handmade items such as ornaments, jewelry, and treasures. So glad we found this unique store!

This is our third trip to Lanai, and we always stop in D&D. There is so much merchandice, it's easy to miss things. You really do have to spend some time to gather it all in. Some of the stuff is nice, but I would guess hard to transport although they probably can arrange for shipping. Some items are pricey,... More

Dis N Dat is the best part of Lanai. If I had to chose any shop on Lanai to buy something, it would be Dis N Dat, hands down. They have the best selection of gifts and jewelry, coupled with top notch customer service. They made my trip to Lanai, a pure joy. I bought numerous items from their knowledgeable... More

This place is so fun. All the things hanging from the ceiling and the cute little car parked out front. Even if you don't buy anything pop in just for a look-see. This shop is listed as a must see in all the guide books. Tip: Buy your "Slippah" necklaces here not at the Four Seasons gift shop, they are... More

my husband and i were staying on lanai a few days, and were walking around dole square in lanai city, when we wandered into "Dis 'n Dat", a store in a small plantation house, with lots of fun lights and decorations, and scores of wind chimes hanging all throughout this small store. there are plenty of "slippah" necklaces; tropical inspired...
