You can pay big bucks to see hula show, or you can visit the Lahaina Cannery Mall for free hula shows. They often highlight Keiki (children) and there is plenty of parking at the mall, and plenty of seating in front of the stage. Grap an ice cream cone at Dairy Queen location and enjoy an original, authentic Hawaiian Hula... More

they have some shops where you can buy some stuff like hawaii t shirts and shirts. to waste more time you can sit around the open area and watch "not so interesting" hula shows.

If you just want to go see some Hula dancers, this is a great, free option. Lots of child dancers, and they are SO good!! I was very suprised at how good this show was for being free!

We had a great time at the Christmas show. The music was very traditional. The dancers are all young girls learning the heritage dances, and were very cute as they helped each other through some of the moves. The instructor even joined in on certain dances. Great to see the island traditions continuing, and good for Lahaina Cannery Mall for... More

If luau's aren't your thing...and they aren't mine. Head over to the mall and catch some free local hula dancing. The kids love it and the Hawaiian tchotke's abound here and fr good prices!

We just happened to be shopping at the cannery mall on a evening they were having the free hula show. They are young kids and teenagers with their teacher that are preforming and they do a decent job.

we had great fun watching the kids do the free show in the mall. a little uncoordinated at times but still great to watch and listen. also great that they are keeping the old hawai'in traditions alive with authentic music and dance and some modern stuff which they explain to you. if you're heading to the mall, check it out!
