After spending $600 (plus tip) for my family of six on a guided bike tour to Haleakala, we realized we are not a guided tour family. We want to stop where we want to stop and when we stop somewhere we want stay as long as we want to stay. The GyPSy Guide was recommended to us by our condo... More

Hadn't known what to expect... But this was just perfect: nice voices, spaces of silence - not constant chatter, good stories mixed with history and information. Since this covers the entire island, it was great to approach a major intersection and hear a bit about what other adventures might be available if we turned a different direction. It would be... Driving to Hana was one of the highlights of our trip to Maui; my husband says he wouldn't have wanted to do it without the Gypsy GPS tour. There are a lot of stops on the drive and it is not feasible to see all of them in one day, so the GPS really helped us narrow down where we... More

This gps rental was worth every single penny we paid. It gave us information about the sights worth seeing as well as cultural, social, and political history.

We drove the Road to Hana yesterday. It was a very long day, full of twists and turns. The road is really not for the faint of heart but there are so many great things to see and do along the way. The best thing we did was rent a GPS tour guide. This was the best $40 spent all... More

The gypsy guide system made the drive to Hana an experience to remember! Directions & positioning were excellent. Stories narrated made the trip! You do not need a guide or tour bus if u get Gypsy!

I rented the GyPSy Guide from a resort right up the road from where we were staying in Kihei. It was a very good investment. The Gypsy guide gives you all the information you need as you make the trip to Hana. I had not taken the trip before and had no idea of where the things were I would... More

My partner and I hate being stuck on tour buses with a bunch of people and being forced to stop where everyone else wants to stop. This tool was perfect for our drive to Hana. Part of the whole experience is driving on the narrow roads so it's a must do. The gps guide pointed out all points of interest,... More

Using the GPS guide to Hana was terrific - loved being able to take our time and stop when we wanted and make detours as we saw fit. The guide came packed with great directions, little side anecdotes (enjoyed the Shark King legend) and was truly a helpful item to have with us. I've done the Hana drive once before... More

This is my second time to Maui and 3rd time to Hana. The other two times were with a Mini-Coach tour and with a hiking company. This was, by far, the best $40 investment I made on the trip. The Mini-Coach tour was nice, but using the GyPSy was HALF to the cost of getting ONE person on that tour.... More
