The snorkeling was unreal. Beautiful fish, sand and turtles.

My wife and I stayed at the Westin right on the beach. It is a very peaceful beach (whenever the wind isn't moving 60mph). The water is very calm during the month of May so it isnt a geat surf spot, but is excellent for relaxing and snorkeling.

somewhat rocky, but lovely and near other resorts - can be hazardous swimming due to tides, but this is not under anyone's control. sea turtle sightings possible - cabana chairs on ocean available from resorts

Para-sailing at Ka'anapali is one of the great joys Maui has to offer. Some overpriced restaurants, but that's normal anyways and to be expected. Do the beach activities, save the food money for inland. Great surf!

Once again my wife and I are staying at a hotel at Ka'anapali Beach. We encourage you to do so as well when planning a vacation. This pristine white sand beach offers a clean atmosphere and great snorkeling. If you arrive at the beach early in the morning you should be able to find sun shelter under low shade covering... More

One of the finest beaches in the world! During a visit in March we were able to sit and watch whales right from shore, but on this visit we parasailed and jet ski'd. Add in catching some relaxing rays and you can't beat Ka'anapli for a day...or two...or three...

This is the greatest place to have drinks or dinner, get there for happy hour for a great Mai Tai or Margarita, you sit in the actual sand , on your chairs and your toes are in the sand! Great live Hawaiian music and a hula dancer really give this bar the best vibe, the tiki torches and sitting here... More

There are so many resorts that are beautiful along the Ka'anapali beach area and the beaches are beautiful. The Hyatt and Westin are, IMHO, the nicest two resorts on the beach walk, but the Sheraton probably has the nicest overall beach in front of it's hotel. Whaler's Village is located between the Sheraton and the Westin hotels and is a... More
