The website makes the aquarium seem very large, but it is the smallest one I have ever been to. But for it's size, it is nice and they have a large variety of native fish. My wife's favorite exhibit was the sea turtles and the shark/sting ray tank just before the tunnel under the tank was very cool and informative.... More

Best Aquarium I have visited. Plan on spending most of a day if you want to see the special programs, like a diver in the tanks or feeding of the fish. There were food concessions in the Center or you could leave and return the same day.

We drove around for 15min trying to locate this center! It was in a small 'strip mall' type shopping center! Their website made it sound SO much bigger! The kids really loved it and I liked the fact that some of the attraction was inside and some was outside. The shark tank and diver interaction around feeding time was really... More

They have a nice outdoor exhibits as well as some beautiful in door tanks. One exhibit reminded me of Jaws as the water was all around you. Great for adults and kids

The aquarium is small, but for its size packs a lot of punch. We got lucky and were there just in time for a nice talk about the sea turtles as well as the shark feeding/presentation. The shark tank was really the best part, totally worth going just for that. There were four in my party (all adults) and we... More

Great place to get out of the sun or the rain. Don't miss the diver in the tank feeding the fish. Very interesting.

The aquarium was a fun experience. The bright colours of the fish were very cool to see. The tunnel was the best part. It gives you a really great opportunity to see sharks and sting rays up close and swimming over your head! The restaurant onsite was excellent as well and very well priced. The shop onsite was also fantastic... More

A number of years ago we spent time in Maui but never went to the Maui Ocean Center. This time we were invited for an off- shore excusion from our cruise ship. Our group had the fortunate opportunity to have our own special guide, a most informative female employee of the center. She led us through the various exhibits explaining... More
