The Baldwin Mission Home on Front Street isn't very big but offers an excellent look at early missionary life in Hawaii. There are only three or four rooms and you can't go upstairs, but the artifacts are interesting and the price is reasonable (about $5 for two). There aren't a lot of other opportunities to have that "Colonial Williamsburg" type... more

Whenever we go to Maui, we always go to the Baldwin home to see Emma, the doll. She has an aspirin tablet head. Can we start an Emma fan club? more

The Baldwin family did not interest us. The woman giving the tour was nice, but she didn't make it interesting, and she spoke only of the family. I was expecting a little Hawaiian history to be included, but that was not a part of this museum. It wasn't expensive to get in, thankfully, but the woman rambled on , and... more
