I did the Molokini and Lana'i Eco-Adventure and it was the best part of my trip to Hawaii. I have never been snorkeling before and don't think I could have had a better first time experience. The water at the first site was a litte rough, but manageable. Then during the boat ride to the second spot we had lunch... more

My wife and I reluctantly decided to use PWF a second time while in Maui for our 2nd Year anniversary. The first time we toured with PWF we left from the the other port (not Lahaina). It was enjoyable, but since they are conservationists, they don't get very close to the whales (maybe 500 yards away or more was the... more

We took the Lanai'i snorkel and dolphin watching cruise during Thanksgiving week. Knowledgable and friendly crew, good food (breakfast, lunch and snorkeling gear included in the price). The snorkeling was spectacular and only one other vessel nearby as we explored the reef. Then Captain John took us out about a mile amidst at least one hundred spotted dolphins. They were... more

All I can say is this snorkeling trip is not worth your money. The boat was crowded. There was no one to one snorkeling lesson. The lady in the boat just gave a lecture to probably 40 of us about how to breathe. May be that would have been enough for some of the others, but it didn't work for... more

We did the five hour morning snorkel tour and everyone in our group of four had a fantastic time! We headed first to Molokini where several locals said it was the roughest that they had ever seen it. The captain cut that stop short at 45 mins and took us to another spot where we were sure to see turtles... more

We did the Molokini & Lanai Snorkel & Wild Dolphin excursion. We met at the Maalaea Harbor at 745 am and the boat took off at about 830 am. The boat holds 149 people, but when we went on Nov 9, there were only 55 people on board. As soon as we took off, we were given juice or water,... more

Hmmm, 3-1/2hrs burning fuel between places (not whale season or anything) and less than 2 hrs snorkeling. Also, the skipper took us to the protected water (Molekini) in the morning, and the bigger water in the afternoon (after everybody ate). Lots of people got seasick, and lots of people were saying "Why didn't they let us stay at Molekini?". The... more

The sunset dinner cruise was certainly a nice way to spend a relaxing evening in Maui. The alcoholic drinks are included with the ticket price. The Mai Tais and Hawaiian Sunset drinks were my favorite. However, remember you are on a boat in the ocean, so it does not take as much alcohol to make you sick on the boat.... more

They represent this as Eco friendly and mainly about the dolphins. Just another tourist easy ripoff. We spent 15 minutes out of 5 hrs looking at dolphins because I suspect it's easier and cheaper to let you snorkel in a so.so. Snorkel spot in the lanai harbour (because they have a mooring there. They also say 2 meals which are... more

My wife and I wanted to go snorkeling while in Maui, and choose the Pacific Whale Foundation after looking into some of the options. We booked direct through their website and had no problems. We chose to do the Molokini and Turtle Town snorkel, and I would recommend both stops. We brought our own gear, but they seemed to have... more
