A friendly, low-key, non-commercial Mac nut farm. Family run and small. Visitors see mac nuts growing on trees, in various stages of development. The short time we were there, only one other couple dropped by, so we had an almost personalized tour. After learning how to crack the nuts, we practiced on a few. My family and I were there in September. The tour I thought was just OK but I did buy some Macadamian cooking oil and some Lei's made with the Macamian's, in their natural form. I was glad to go for those purchases. more

This was a fun, low-key place. Unlike the big mac nut farms on the big island, you can actually visit this one and walk through the trees. It is a small operation, but that is why it is great. The owners tell you all about how the nuts are grown and what they do to get them ready for sale.... more
