My 8 year old son desperately wanted to a shark dive so I went along with him. Normally, it's not something that I would have gone out of my way to do but I'm so glad that I did it and so proud of my son!! It was quite a choppy day when we went so I didn't take my... more

Wanted to do the much talked about swimming with sharks.. And we did!! We reported to the harbor at 8.30 am for our 9 am departure. Traveled by a boat for about 3 miles into the sea and reached the spot the Galapagos sharks frequent. Having anchored the boat there, our group of 8 people were divided into 3 groups... more

After reading the reviews for both North Shore Shark and Hawaii Shark Adventures, I decided to go with North Shore Shark. I disregarded the previous negative review and gave them a shot. I loved the whole experience. The staff members were friendly and very knowledgeable. They were flexible and made every effort to ensure we (5 other friends) enjoyed our... more

My 19 year old daughter and I went on the shark adventure. When we went the water was choppy and if the wind had been any stronger they would have canceled it. I'm glad that they didn't since it was our last day on the island and we would not have gotten another chance. The waves did bang us around... more

Their website advertised that "Tours are limited to six persons so there is no overcrowding" and that the tour "last two hours." This was confirmed by telephone as well. In fact, there were 10 people on our tour and it lasted only 1.5 hours. After the tour, I spoke with the captain of the boat about my concerns and he... more

My sixteen year old daughter loved being in the shark cage. The only thing that really bothered me is that they charged over $60 for the video. The video is only about 20 minutes long, has no background music which makes it pretty boring (all your hear is swoosh) and they do not even zoom in on you while you... more

We got banged around in the cage a lot, but the sharks are beautiful and this is the best way to see them. They're all Galapagos sharks, though, so don't expect to see any of the real scary guys! :) Very nice crew and lots of fun, though a little too short, in my opinion (you only get about 15-20... more

We had a good time on the shark tour. It was everything that was advertised and the sharks were huge and close up. We got several great pics with our wp camera. The boat is nice and the guides are friendly and knowledgeable. It was a little pricey though. After the shark tour we headed up to sharks cove to... more

My wife and I just returned from Hawaii. This was one of the first organized tours that we did. The crew was very professional. We spent about 20 min in the shark cage and saw (inches away) a lot of galapagos sharks, up to about 12 ft. There is not a lot of chum in the water (they put in... more

I researched both shark outfits in Oahu and ended up picking North Shore Shark Adventures. We had a rental car so I don't know much about the transportation aspect. We found the launch very easily. The whole trip was great. I went with my 13 year old daughter and her friend. The staff was super nice, funny, very informative. We... more
