Our whole family enjoyed the pier a lot! A lot of stores to see, a lot to eat and the only down side was that the aquarium was closed for a private event :(.... Will come back the comedy/magic show was pretty fun!

We live in the Bay Area, but always bring guests to Pier 39 to have the tourist experience and do some great shopping. Has a great view of Alcatraz which should also not be missed.

The Pier is super busy, but there are a lot of cute little stores. It's nice to just browse around, but if you're in a hurry, I wouldn't suggest going.

This was a very cool place.. So much to see and experience! Lots of little shops, places to eat and relax.. Try the mirror maze, very fun! As a previous review stated, very cold though, bundle up! I had to buy a hoodie there..P.S. Parking is expensive!

This is a touristy area but you must see it when in San Francisco. Plenty of shops and eateries. The sea lions are a must. They are entertaining. Parking is challenging. Recommend going early in the day to find good parking. We parked in a parking garage across the street from Pier 39 for $10.00 for all day. It was... More

SF doesn't seem to me to make the most of its waterfront. Pier 39 didn't do much for me.

I went in May and didn't realize that when you got closer to the water it is FREEZING!! I went to Pier 39 and there was so many things going on in that area, and the sea lions were AWESOME! So cute! "A must see" while you are there!
