There is an amazing wine bar in the ferry building that has the most delicious cheese plate and amazing wines from the area. We were there everyday for a whole week and we loved it!

Visiting this wonderful collection of shops is a tad bittersweet for me, I love that it is there, and I love eating here, but It makes me sad not to have access to a kitchen so that I could cook some of the incredible things I see when I visit.

We just loved the choices of the restaurants, it had good choices for every palette or craving. The farmers' market in the morning was a bonus. It was also a very clean place, something that we found rare in downtown SF. This would be my favorite place in SF.

Went on Saturday and a mistake. Popular places inside had LONG lines for the Cowgirl cheese shop, coffee, etc. Had a nice variety of permanent local stores and vegetable/baked goods open air places. Outside and across the street were many arts and crafts outdoor stands, nice variety and not all "junkie". Easy to get too on the cable car system. Probably better to... More

We walked to the Ferry Building from our cruise dock at pier 30/35. We had this on our list of things to do for a while ... and did enjoy seeing all of the beautiful produce. seafood and breads. We were there on a Tuesday ... so they did have a lot of tents set up on the sidewalk outside... More

I love to wander through whenever we visit SF. Great people watching, fun shops, unique food purveyors, and when the Farmer's Market is set up, its great fun to wander among the stands and see what is available. You can eat casually at one of several establishments (great sangria at Mijita's) or go to the Slanted Door for a nicer... More
