Wonderful displays. Spent a couple of hours here. Great air con on a hot day - a bonus!!

I was luck enough to visit in its previous incarnation but the present site offers marvellous art in quality and range and excellent guides and information. A highpoint in my visits to San Francisco. I never miss it.

We visited when they had a special exhibit on Samurai, and it was fantastic.

One of my favorite museums on the West coast---a comprehensive collection from all the Asian countries which includes both classical and contemporary pieces from many cultures. Nice place to while away a few hours when the weather turns. Check out the Netsuke collection in the Japanese section. Loved it.

I loved this place. There was a really amazing exhibit when I visited. I spent a lot of time in this museum and I still want to go back again soon. There are really nice collections.

Do become a member. The latest exhibit "The Raj" was so outstanding went back again and again. Cafe is worth a lunch also/

My favorite museum in San Francisco. Their permanent collection is a must see and their visiting exhibitions always interesting. If you haven't been or haven't been in a while, put it on your must do list.

A revelation! Why did no-one tell us about this ? A wealth of fascinating objects, superbly displayed with just the right amount of information.
