we were lucky, that our hotel receptionist recommended this open air bus tour to us. Besides the weather which was favourable to us, Keon our tour-guide gave us top of the notch introduction to all the spots on the way. Also the fact, that you can get off at any point and continue from there later makes it very practical.

If you want to cover the main sights in San Fran quickly and without having to do any walking, this is the way to do it.
