At Blazing Saddles Bike Rentals and Tours we want our guests to come away from a day on our bikes feeling as if they have just experienced the very best that our city has to offer. Whether it is a local resident enjoying our state of the art equipment or a visitor seeing the city for the first time, we encourage our riders to enjoy the bike friendly environment of San Francisco. Blazing Saddles was one of the first in the industry to develop a proprietary map of suggested routes and points of interest, and we have been a major pioneer in promoting cycling through the Presidio National Park, over the Golden Gate Bridge and into Sausalito and Tiburon. All of our seven locations in San Francisco have easy access to a car-free bike path that winds around the city by the bay. We have the largest fleet of bikes in San Francisco, including state of the art electric bikes, tandems and kids’ bikes. We also have high performance road and mountain bikes for those who want to explore Golden Gate National Recreation Area and Mt. Tamalpais State Park. We rent bikes 365 days a year and we open at 8am every day. For those that want something more we offer a daily tour with a friendly and knowledgeable guide. No reservations necessary, so come on down when you’re ready to Bike the Bridge! « less

This business is running like a well-oiled machine now. We walked in and were met with enthusiasm, they took care of everything in a very organized way and we were off and back without a hitch! Recommended to all my friends.

Over the course of 5 days in San Fran I hired bikes three times from Blazing Saddles. One day hired Road Bikes from their Columbus location - book in advance and get the model and size you want. Expertly maintained new bikes with exquisite gear shifting - well equipped as saddle bag has spare tube, tyre irons, puncture repair and... More

This place is HORRENDOUS. Staff is HORRIBLY PUSHY. We told them we wanted to bike to Golden Gate Park (which they advertise as a route on their maps and pamphlets) and they completely ignored us multiple times and explained to us the directions to Sausalito. I don't doubt that Sausalito is a nice place, but we DIDN'T WANT TO GO... More

I had friends in town who wanted to ride bikes across the Golden Gate Bridge. We went to Blazing Saddles to rent bikes and asked what we should do. They said to cross the Golden Gate and then ride down into Sausalito. I've been many times and thought this would be a great ride. The sales woman told us once... More

We spent mother's day biking over the golden gate on a tandem bike, which is not recommended (far too busy), but I would highly recommend renting a bike (tandem or not!) for the day to go over the bridge to Sausalito. Blazing saddles is a bit expensive - the $60 rental quickly turned into $100 with taxes and insurance, but... More

This is a copy of my review I sent to the tour company: I booked the electric bike tour online while in flight to SanFrancisco for April 24th.  Immediately I received a response from Hannah Williams (General Manager) that the tour would likely be cancelled and I could reschedule or receive a refund.  I opted for the refund and at... This review is about Blazing Saddles and not the Electric Tour Company. Customers complaint has been forwarded to the manager at the other company. We have asked Tripadvisor to remove the review as the problems outlined are not our company. More

My family rented bikes from Blazing Saddles for a full day of touring. The company got us in and out within fifteen minutes and were great. The bikes were super comfortable and the ride over the Golden Gate Bridge is not to be missed. We then biked through Sausalito to Mill Valley. Had a pleasant lunch then and headed back.... More

The staff is energetic and excellent at Blazing Saddles. They outfitted us and had us on our way in record time. It was a beautiful day in SF and we rode from Hyde street by Fort Mason the marina and over the bridge and ended up in Sausalito. We took the ferry back to SF. A wonderful experience!
