This is a good spot to end the night for about 90 minutes to catch your breath. The four performers tell some interesting tales and do a bit of magic and pretty much make sure that most audience members play a little role in the show. No tigers vanish and no people fly, but each of the tales is illustrated by some amazing bit of magic or other making the evening whiz by. I highly recommend "Eccentrics of San Francisco's Barbary Coast" which opened Friday, April 3rd at the Chancellor Hotel on Union Square. The story telling about S.F.'s historical folks - Emperior Norton, Ellen Pleasant, Oofty-Goofty, etc. - was as outstanding as the magic!
