the ride was great, a wee bit boring but the captain had alot of attitude and really made the entire ride unpleasant. would rather skip the speed boat and go for the slow boat next time

Took the 60 minute bay cruise. Make sure you go when the fog has lifted for the best view. I learned nothing as the sound system was overpowered by the engines for the entire cruise. I do not have a hearing deficit.

Friendly service, great ride on the bay, but hard to hear the sound system. Probably good information about SF, but couldn't hear. The captain went out of his way to point out pods of dolphins, and took the boat around Alcatraz for an even closer look - both quite enjoyable. I liked this attraction.

I took the trip with Blue & Gold fleet that goes around Alcatraz and under the golden gate bridge. The staff were very friendly and helpful and they even had a small snack bar on board which was perfect. I would recommend you to other travellers and to my colleagues who visit SF regularly. Ill take another trip next time!

This tour is included in the City Pass, so we picked an afternoon and headed out on the boat. Nice tour, good length and information. We stayed on the outside of the boat and only listened to the info we were interested in. I think experiencing the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz from the outside improves the tour.

We took the Golden Gate Cruz as part of our city pass and it was fun cruising around and riding under the bridge, but it is COLD on the water so be sure to bring a jacket.
