I was there with a friend and I couldn't resist buying something for myself a lot of variety, but I had to use their restroom and surprise, I'd preferred waiting for my hotel.

We originally went to Macy's to eat at their rooftop restaurant. The day was warm and sunny, staff was great and the food was very good with large portions. We were seated with a view down into the plaza and there was entertainment to watch. We later wondered through the store and made some purchases. A nice afternoon.

Was there a couple weekends ago and shopped for hours at Macy's. Inventory is large and great range of prices. Too much to see not enough time and energy. Visited the Men's Macy's store and was under construction but still had good selection. Burger Bar and Cheesecake Factory are restaurants in same building, seemed they were always busy.

Just in case you don' t know, Macy's is a big American department store company. They have locations in mall all over the place. This particular location on Union Square in San Francisco is HUGE -- not as big as the classic location on Herald Square in New York City, but definitely bigger than the one you may find in... More

This truly is the best Macy's on the west coast. This location has many amenities that rival the stores on the east coast. They have a Cheese Cake Factory restaurant on the top floor that has amazing views of union square. It is a very large location hat covers two blocks and carries an endless amount of clothing, accessories and... More

We simply don't have a department store like this in Australia, a whole city block for women - I did not know that even existed, we were lucky to be there over long weekend in Jan and made the most of the sales over the 3 days!!!! We stayed so long we had lunch at the burger/bar - burgers were... More

The good thing about macys in union square is that they have a complete mens building separate from the womens one. Usually i end up finding a coffee store and sitting around while my wife shops her heart out. This is a nice change and the mens store is good to check out if you are in the area
