it is worth the climb to the top if you are in the area, you can see over San Fran and there are nice paths throughout the park. would be a good place for a picnic as well. We seen 1 homeless person sleeping at the one entrance but other then that it looks safe, no homeless people in the...

Found this to be a great place to get views across the city. Worth a look if you're in Haight-Ashbury and are passing. Quite a climb to the top though!
