I am a rank amateur compared to Bob. His knowledge is astounding, and his delightful presentation brings the events of 1862 to life. I've visited Antietam twice before, and never had a real ground-level, hands-on grasp upon the battle until taking a tour with Bob. You're wasting your time touring the battlefield otherwise. Thanks, Bob, for a terrific day.

Bob has an incredible ability to draw a vivid picture of the area leading up to the war and conditions on this battlefield during it. Even my wife, who is not particularly interested in any way history, found his recounting of the events fascinating. We will definitely tour other parts of Maryland with him the next time we are in...
