We have been to Harper's Ferry several times and used other outfitters-we'll be back with River Riders again next time. In spite of the recycled jokes on the (kinda scary) shuttle buses, guides were well-trained, competent and professional. Both the Shenandoah and the Potomac can be extremely crowded with tubers on the weekends, especially holidays. The morning trips, less so.... more

River Riders makes for a great day trip rafting on the Shenandoah. The raft guides do a great job making the trip as fun as possible. Kudos to Nick and Jeremy! more

I've got one word for you: "DUMPS". Ask for him as your river guide and you will quite possibly have the best time..even if the waters aren't too rough, and quite a bit slow. I had never been rafting before and was a little aprehensive. My daughter talked me into going, and I am so gald she did, we had a wonderful time! Jun 26th with two buddies, had the experience of a lifetime kayaying in a duckie on the Shenandoah River. Guide Nick was great as were the other guides. The weather was beautiful and scenery breathtaking. We would recommend this if you like the great outdoors. more
