Had the trail to ourselves. Remember to take plenty of water...it gets hot. Great views at the end of the trail!

Some beautiful views and challenging drive at the beginning, quite boring for the most part, and a very long drive (the entire loop is over 47 miles)
We did a three day drive at the end of March. Weather was perfect and it wasn't crowded at all. Camped at Gooseberry and Potato Bottom campsites. The scenery is fantastic. The road isn't very challenging. But you would definitely want 4WD. I recommend all the side trips. We did the Gooseneck Trail, Walking Rocks, Musselman Arch (you can walk...

We have done this road at least three times and always discover something new. Not that difficult: 3-4 rating but definitely high clearance; our fave National park; some camping spots better than others; try Murphy Point or white Crack for views; some have NO shade others a bit; pit toilets at all but remember you do no need a permit...

We took our Toyota Rav4 with 4WD down (and back up!!) this road...om my goodness! You get to see so much more tan if you just stay on the paved roads! We had talked with two rangers in the Island in the Sky district about the road conditions...they were spot on...it is easy to navigate with 4WD. We are planning...

While visiting Moab Utah, my wife and I spent two amazing days navigating the White Rim Trail in our truck.
This trail was something we've wanted to do for years and it was everything we expected and more! Amazing vistas, beautiful scenery and some of the most unique trails we've ever driven in our 4 year journey around North America...

I went for a 4 day mountain bike adventure on the White Rim with Western Spirit Cycling. Fantastic trip even for a total mountain bike newbie like me. Scenery is AMAZING and none of it is too scary.

We went with Magpie Cycling Adventures (www.magpieadventures.com) on a four day guided trip and they did a fantastic job. We've been outdoor adventuring for years and...

We had driven to the white rim a few years ago and thought it would be nice to camp. We booked up and camped at Airport and Whitecrack. The white rim is really beautiful. Something very different to do. Lots of people mountain biking but not many cars, due to being an offroad trail you can't go very fast and...

Magpie Adventures guided our three-day trip of seven people; we were supported by a 'chase' truck which pampered us with great food, drinks, energy snacks, mechanical help and moral support. Despite a late change to the itinerary--due to a washed out road--Mike and Maggie made a great adjustment (and busted their butts to make it work!). They are a very...
