A Small state park that shouldn't be missed. It's well worth the time taken from other National Parks to visit this close by state park. Absolutely beautiful views.

This is a nice state park with great views of the valley. It is on the road to the Canyonlands- Island in the Sky park entrance. You can do these to parks in one day trip.

We did the rim walk from the visitor center. Great views of the Colorado River.

We had just a few quick stops on our way to and in the Dead horse point sp but nevertheless really enjoyed the views and were amazed by the resemblance with the Grand Canyon. The fist shot of the Mission Impossible II movie was filmed here and also the final of Thelma & Louise. Not te be missed place when... More

You have to visit this if you've seen Thelma and Louise but even if you haven't it's a great place with brilliant views.

The word "Point" is deceiving as the scale of view is huge. Be sure to walk around the whole point to see all views of the canyon below.

This new area to Mountain bike has something for everyone and fantastic views. Our group of 6 loved it. Well worth the drive and $10 car fee to get in. Very nice visitors center, bathrooms and lots of see and do.

Dead Horse Point is a State Park, near Moab, Utah - what an amazing place - the story is that cowboys used the point as a natuarl corral for the wild mustangs they rounded up - taking the horses they wanted, they left the rest to die. Not a very nice story, but my first real view of a canyon... More

To my opinion it is the most beautiful scenery of the United States. The grand canyon is as marvelous but the view at this park expands to 360 degrees (with an exception on one direction where there is something which looks similar to a fish culture ...) and seems to go to the infinite. At the very bottom you see... More
