In the basement of the beautiful Red Cliffs Lodge, this tiny film museum showcases posters, photos and artifacts from many movies filmed in this area. John Wayne figures prominently and more modern movies include: Back to the Future 2 and 3, Forest Gump, Thelma and Louise, Austin Powers and many more. I am not sure it would have been worth... More

Left Moab to go to Denver along this route. Heard about this stop from a fellow camper! This museum is terrific. It is in the basement of the Red Cliffs Lodge. Very interesting film museum. Brought back a lot of memories. I did not know so many movies were filmed in this area. It also reminded me of some movies & tv shows that I used to enjoy & had forgotten about. I wish some of these show were still on instead of the reality junk that is on now.

Small 2 room museum with local film memorabilia. It's worth a quick look if in the area of the Red Cliffs Lodge. It's interesting and free, so no complaints. The Castle Creek winery is a short walk across the parking lot.
