Very beautiful place! This is a "AAA" Gem and I'm glad I went there. I am a 25 year old male and I enjoyed it. It was relaxing and peaceful. This place has a great selection of outdoor bonsai in a beautiful setting. The trails are full of native plants which make good scenery with the Smoky Mountains in the background. more

We visit the North Carolina Arboretum every time we go to Asheville, and consider it one of the highlights of the trip. There is something to attract every season of the year. I would highly recommend visiting here. However, I think I would wait until late April in an attempt to catch the spring bloom better. Nice relaxing trails to walk along.
