It was almost empty on the Wednesday afternoon we visited. The lack of shoppers/lookers was a little disconcerting. We thought it was closed at first!
Went by to check it out about 7 all stores were closed and only the restaurants were open.
Nice indoor group of shops on a rainy day, otherwise I would not spend much time inside. The vendors on the street in front are interesting but not very diverse. Seems like the same old six and seven with scented oils, candles, eclectic art, etc. Go get a $1 pint of PBR (happy hour) at Carmel's while the wife enjoys...

Really nice shops and great restaurants. See the Gingerbread Houses display at the holidays.
The building is a deco showpiece. There are many stores inside to puruse. And thankfully, Restrooms!
Grove Arcade has a lot of shops and different things to see. Very impressive. In the heart of Asheville
Lots going on here. My favorite is the Battery Park Book Exchange and Champagne Bar. One of a kind.
Some nice stores but a little predictable. Wish I had seem more crafts and less expensive merchandise.
Many empty shops. The Chocolate show was the best. From the lobby, you can see the employees making the chocolates.
