This was our first trip. Loved the ability to drive by several of the vendors without having to get our of car. Big plus that way you could see what options outside are before going inside the 2 buildings for more shopping. Recommend going through both buildings before making purchases. We purchased homemade peanut butter, Amish Butter, Amish Pimento Cheese,... More

There isn't a farmers market like this one where I lived, so it was a novelty to get to see it. It was very organized, and there are as many canned goods to buy as fresh produce, so it's a nice place to pick up a gift/souvenir.

Stopped to buy some Honey Crisp apples. Spoke with some Hispanic guy about his display of apples. I told him I desired local, North Carolina apples only and that if his Honey Crisp apples were LOCAL, North Carolina apples I would buy them. He assured me they were local, grown in Hendersonville area. Because the SOB told me they were... More

Loved the cheese, fruits and veggies. There was also music being played in the space between the buildings with seats for rest. Across the road was a store with a large selection of Christmas Ornaments and knick knacks.

I visit this market several times a year and it's always a pleasure to see and buy all the locally grown fruits & veggies. But you do have to be careful with some of the vendors. There is one who never posts prices, so you have to ask how much. I've heard them quote one price to one person, and... More

I wish we had Farmer Markets like this in Florida and Georgia. I would shop there every week. The produce can’t get any fresher. Great preserves, jellies and jams. The corn is the best I have ever tasted. We bought apples, peaches, bananas, corn, potatoes and squash all for less then $20! Why doesn't the supermarket produce section smell like... More

This farmers market is great. The colors of all the produce make as pretty a scene as the fall foliage. I should have taken a picture of the varieties available.

This is a great place to go year-round. Don't stop at the first enclosed building, but head on down to the end structures too. And DON'T GO TO BETTY'S at the first building. I was buying fresh corn and showing my little girl how to pull down the husk to check for worms. The elderly man and then his son... More

We took a group of senior adults to the Farmer's Market in July/07 and ate lunch at the Moose Cafe. It was very busy, but the service was friendly and our orders were handled well for a large group. Food was good and plentiful, especially the meatloaf and biscuits. The Farmer's Market was fun to browse, good selection of canned... More
