WOW. This place is dreamy! The serene spa music plays under water in the pools! My facial was wonderful.

We were there to see the Gingerbread House competition--so fun and so many! Would definitely go again. Beautifully decorated for Christmas.

The best massage I've ever had. It's the whole experience here from start to finish: the welcoming staff, the great locker area that includes showers with all the toiletries you need for showering and getting ready when you are finally ready to leave (not that you will ever really feel ready to leave, but they do close eventually), the fantastic... This is one of the best spa's I have been to. If they are booked for massages ask about a day pass. They have 3 pools and 4 hot tubs. It is very relaxing and quiet.

We took a walk around the hotel and grounds but did not stay.. Great, historic hotel and beautiful grounds. Great place to see the mountains, view some history, have a drink or light snack and watch the world go by. Dinner prices looked extreme however.

If you want to get away from normal, hustle and bustle in your life, this is one place to consider in Asheville. The SPA is well worth a tour even if you don't plan a service. The Grove Park Inn has many historical connections. I've heard it is was recently acquired in a sale. Check other reviews about that.

Wonderful way to spend a few hours. Stroll the shops with MADE IN AMERICA products. Have a great lunch on the terrace. The views are magnificent. You'll have a great time just looking at photos of the famous and near famous who have been there.

We stayed in the "value" room which is in the older part of the hotel. It had so much more charm than the newer part, and if you don't mind a queen bed and not having a mountain view, its worth it. The Inn's grounds are absolutely beautiful, but bring comfortable walking shoes if you are going to explore.
