I've lived in Boston for years and finally ended up on a Duck Boat tour myself last summer. I'd heard rave reviews from tourists and locals alike, but honestly I wasn't that impressed. The driver was amazing—all the drivers are part tour guide, part actor (and let's not discount the difficulty of driving a car in this city, much less... more

I have to admit at first i felt a bit silly quacking at people on the pavements but once you let your hair down this really is a lot of fun. It is a great introduction to the city and the perfect thing to do on your first day to help you get your bearings. Plus the guides (like most... more

if you like to walk, you will hit all the same points from the Freedom Trail... so it may not be totally worth it (other than the experience of being on the "duck boat") but if it's winter or you want to sit back and relax and tour - then this would be a great way to do it. :)... more

Two friends and I took the opportunity to go on one of the famour Boston Duck Tours. Uisng a wheelchair for mobility I was treated with the utmost respect and was able to enjoy the experience as well as every other person on board. They were filming a training video for their staff and I was asked if i would... more

My wife and I got the chance to take the Duck Tour with Sargeant Meatball. He was really funny and very knowledgeable. I would say that having a good "conducktor" as they call it would enhance your enjoyment of the ride but even with an average driver you will like this experience a great deal. The history of the transport... more

If you go to Boston you really should do this tour. My family and I had a great time with Captain "Ace Bandage". These people really know their stuff about Boston and are proud of that. The tour itself is like nothing you have ever experienced before. Our children had a grand time and even got to drive the Duck... more

We took the Duck tour on our recent trip to Boston, and it was great fun. Saw much of the city, passing some of the sights a little too quickly, but fun none the less! We traveled from the Science Museum, through Beacon HIll Area ( the Cheers building exterior was smaller than it lookes on t.v.) and around Boston... more

My husband and I just returned from our first trip to Boston and took the Duck Tour our first day there. I was torn whether or not to spend the money on this . . . it's nearly $30 per person for an 80 minute tour. I'm glad we did for the novelty factor, but still think the tour is... more

Great way to start your trip in the city. Buy tickets in advance because they sell out quick! The land and water tour is very unique :) more

We were in Boston 3 days and actually took this tour on our last day because that was the only day we could go. Even though we had already walked the Freedom Trail, this was still a great tour to take in addition. The tour guide was friendly and very knowledgable. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Boston. more
