The exhibit halls are packed with hands on learning experiences. There is a Omni Theatre and many extras which require a fee; however, are always worth it. The Cafe offers lots of choices, snacks and juice and water. It is quick and plenty of seating. The gift shop offers lots of things you don't find in most toy stores. I... more

I've been coming since I was a kid. Although some of the exhibits remain unchanged over the decades, the classics are well maintained and there's always something new. The entire experience is kid friendly. My children 8, 10 and 12 are able to explore with minimal supervision and always look forward to our outings to the MOS. A premium membership... more

The Museum of Science has been a favorite of our family for years. Now that the kids are teenagers, you'd think they'd lose interest, but the MOS continues to draw us in and delight us. Recently, we saw the Harry Potter exhibit. The exhibit was artfully staged and the flow of traffic allowed us to get up close and personal... more

A superb and fascinating perspective of Mystic India at the Omni Max Theater. It delivered 5 stars on both content and visual impact. We just wish it had been longer. Mystical India offered up some powerful lessons in respect, compassion, & insights into our amazing human potential. A clear challenge for science to reach ever higher and deeper. more

The Boston MoS is one of our favorite places to spend a day; we bought a membership this summer and we've gone several times since then. We especially like the Dinosaur area (Cliff The Triceratops is a rare and wonderful example of an intact Triceratops fossil), the Human Body area, the theatre of Electricity and the natural world exhibits. Most... more

I have been a member of the MOS for 7 years and have had the opportunity to take in many of the traveling exhibits that have been offered there. The Star Wars exhibit a few years ago did a good job, not a great one, of making you feel like you were really there. This time around, with Harry Potter:... more

This was one of my favorite places. We would have spent two days there. Because it closes at 5:00 we did not have time to see what we wanted. This is so interesting and chidlren would love it. more

As fans of Harry Potter (read all books and seen the movies), my family enjoyed the experience of the special exhibit. I would recommend the extra $4 for the audio -- simple to use and enhanced the experience. As a member, I generally visit once a year and there is always something that catches my attention. My kids (143 &... more

We took our 4 kids ages 7-13 for a Saturday afternoon. We didn't do any of the movie presentations and we still didn't have enough time to take in all the exhibits! And I mean that as a good thing. Normally in a museum there's at least one area that's easy to pass over quickly. But here, every area we... more

Let me start by saying...I've been coming here since I was a kid....not much changes in this place. The same tired exhibits...if it wasn't for the Lightning Show in the Theatre of Electricity, it's not worth returning, unless a special exhibit is on display. Fortunately, my last visit (last weekend) was part of the Smithsonian Museum Day, and was free... more
