Great outdoor shopping street. Pretty diverse selection of shops..even though there are lots of high end chain stores, ie. Armani, Gucci, Channel etc..there are also lots of funky Boston-only shops as you make your way down..Things get more unique & interesting after Exeter St. It can get pretty packed on the weekends, but it adds to the charm..lots of outdoor... more

Newbury Street is one of the best streets in the city of Boston. Its an urban street filled with an array of historic buildings that all house ground level retail space and upper level apartments, lofts, condos or office space. The stores on Newbury Street are among the finest in the city and include both locally owned and operated shops... more

Newberry Street is a fantastic urban street that experiencing should not be missed on a trip to Boston. Shops are upscale toward the Public Garden and more modest as you approach Mass Ave. But there are great restaurants as well as ample opportunity to people-watch and window shop if it is all out of your price-range. OKay yes, it is a little pricey. But there are also some really nice/eccentric shops. It also depends which end you start on. If you start on the end near the Arlington T Stop you will hit Burberry and Chanel. If you start on the the end near the Hynes T Stop you will hit Newbury Comics and Urban Outfitters.... more

it's like 5th ave in NYC... everything is extremely overpriced. Go to Faneuil hall or somewhere better for your time and it WILL save you money! more
