Our tour guide Jim was just unique. He blended History with tastes and flavors and smells. It was an easy and very pleasant way to learn about the Italian foods and cuisine and to also enjoy some Italian goodies offered to us at the interesting food stores he brought us to. The History that he covered the tour with was... More

Whether you love to cook, love to eat or love to learn, there's something for everyone in the North End Market Tours. Our tour guide Jim was friendly, knowledgeable and informative. I learned a LOT about Italian cooking, cuisine and culture PLUS some history about the North End. It was one of my favorite parts of our trip to Boston--and... More

Great few hours spent with Jim wandering, listening and tasting around the back streets of the North End, having been on a few of these tours throughout the US this is one of the most entertaining and leaves you all set for a nice lunch in one of the many Italian restaurants throughout the area.

I always wanted to take this tour, finally did, after reading great reviews. The tour guide Jim shared lots of information about the North End, along with Italy and the different regions. He told us how the food from Italy changed in its transition to America and how Italian food has become "Americanized". You are told ahead that this is... More

We have been to the North End many times but never like this! Jim, our tour guide, was excellent - very knowledgeable not only about the food but the history. We were all surprised when the tour came to an end - didn't seem like 3 hours had passed. I came away with a lot of new ideas and recipes... More

The best food tour we have been on. The shops we visited were very friendly and the samples were amazing and plentiful. Jim is very knowledgeable and this made the tour more interesting and fun. when we head back to Boston we will be going on his China Town food walk.

Jim, a former chef & world traveler, was our fascinating & engaging guide thru Little Italy. His appraisals and hints for navigating the best markets & shops in the No.End seemed genuine. Most stops included samples of pastry, olive oils, cheeses, prosciutto, etc. Would't hesitate to recommend, & plan to take their Chinatown Tour next visit to Boston!

We are frequent visitors to Boston and the North End. I've always wanted to wander the neighborhood and discover the hidden gems but where to begin. The North End Market Tour does just what I had hoped for. Our group met in the morning and began our tour with Jim, our guide. We stopped at 6 shops that I hadn't... More

If you love italian food, you can't miss it! Full of information, fun and takes to tiny little stores that only locals know about. Loved it!
