Just saw FEIST at the HOB from the third floor. View was very nice as we were in the front row. Those behind us in the second row got up and stood at the edges most of the evening. The accoustics are fair-the venue is not optimal for sound-but acceptable. We kept hoping the FEIST sound crew would increase the... More

I had been to the Boston HOB before, but I had always had floor/General Admission tickets, so when I recently bought tickets that had seat numbers, I was confused. I looked online for an answer but couldn't find anything, so maybe this will help anyone in the same position in the future. The House of Blues Boston has several levels.... More

Two days ago I went to see Indie band Kasabian at The House of Blues in Boston... Simply put, it was the worst concert I've ever been, period! Besides, we had to wait overlong for each band to start. Yeah, I know I shouldn't arrive around 7.30 (the BEGINNING -whatever that may mean in House of Blues Boston- was scheduled... More

I'll echo what was said about food and drinks being expensive at HOB. That's true. The thing that puts me off the most though, is that it has this kind of sterile feeling to it. It feels like a pre-fabricated, plastic concert experience. I don't like the venue at all. If a band I like a lot is playing there,... More

Went with friends and husband to see Martin Sexton at the Boston HOB this past Saturday night. I've been to the various iterations of the Lansdowne Street clubs since the early 80's and I must say that the House of Blues is an improvement. Sure the drinks are expensive - $9.00 for a Stoli vodka tonic - but the sound... More

We had a company party here and everyone had a blast! The staff was excellent, food was great, and the music was fantastic. The coat check line was very long but they worked as fast as they could with out big party.

Went to see M83 in November. Were very excited to see one our favorite bands since they were ending their tour here in America. The concert was great, drinks were (as expected) expensive, and ultimately very happy to have the chance to see such a great performance in a beautiful venue. We purchased our tickets soon after they became available.... More

This was the second time we saw a show at the House of Blues. Two years ago we saw Mighty Mighty Bosstones which was amazing, and this year we saw City and Colour. The first time we were on the floor, standing, general admission, and this time we were on the 3rd floor, in assigned seats. I loved this venue... More
