The New England Conservatory is the oldest music school in the country. It is still considered one of the best music schools in America. NEC's faculty is made up of legends like George Russell, Bob Brookmeyer, Danilo Perez, Jerry Bergonzi, and Ran Blake. NEC's string program is now considered to be the best in the country.
