Although it is not promoted to the ordinary tourist if you visit Beacon Hill just follow the signs. It's a bit tucked away but when you get there you will get a warm welcome. It is good value compared to other attractions and you learn alot. The temporary exhibition was very interesting and the staff helpful.

This is a small but interesting museum that will help shed some light onto the history of African Americans in the Boston area, especially around the time of the country's independance. The staff are great- friendly and helpful. The gift shop was a bit bland, though the book selection there is interesting. If you can, make time in your schedule... More
