I loved Riverdance so much that I returned to see it a second time with my other child. It's a terrific show, but the first time was better because it was performed at the Colonial. What the Opera House lacks is the sort of intimacy that the Colonial and Shubert offer. Sure, it's a lot better than the Wang Theater,... More

Yesterday we went to Boston to the Boston Opera House and saw a wonderful presentation of Riverdance. The house is beautiful and a smaller venue in which every seat seems to have a great view. The production was outstanding. Parking down the street at the Hyatt was $12 for self park and $20 for valet for all day ( a... More

Such a beautiful venue. The front door is accessible and the box office line for tickets are a great service if you need wheelchair and companion seating. To get to the first level there is an elevator to the left with a staff member running it. The accessible bathroom is downstairs and if there is a line, a staff member... More

We have enjoyed every show that we have seen at the Opera House. The best seats are in the Orchestra. The Mezzanine is very large and I would avoid seats waaaay up in the back as the stage seems to get rather small from there. Beautiful restoration, wonderful sound system.

Went to the Boston Opera house to see Les Miserables, and it was amazing! I love this show and it was my first time seeing it and what a great place to see it! The opera house has gone under a complete renovation in recent years and it showed everything shined and sparkled, although we did happen to notice some... More

For all the beauty of the Boston Opera house with its domed ceiling and carved opulent architecture, the opening night performance on the 13th of March 2012 was nothing less than miserable. The auditorium is very large and seats hundreds of people yet, the stage from the mezzanine looked like the size of a 14 inch television set!. There was... More

I've been to many a theatre in my time, and the Boston Opera House is one of the most ornate and beautiful theatres I've ever set foot in. The most recent show I attended there was American Idiot, last month. I got cheap tickets through my school, and much to my happy surprise, they were very nice seats for the... More

Great place to see this Broadway production. This house is a terrific theater. Take the time to look up at the ceiling and look at the details of the interior design.

This is such a beautiful opera house, you should definitely check it out if you are visiting Boston! Not sure if they'd let you in without tickets to one of the shows but it's very pretty. I've seen a couple of different shows, last one was American Idiot, had no problems viewing from the mezzanine although I am extremely short.... More
