Why are the presence of police and security turnin their heads when all one can smell if POT. Who is being paid off. I went to see a show not to inhale POT. I thought the last time I check this was an illegal substance. Perhaps one may want to ask why heads are being turned. Sure it is not... More

I have seen a few concerts here and have always had an amazing time. If you see a band that you really like it is awesome because the venue is small and you can really get close to the stage.

Obviously once a gem of a theatre..the owner of this venue should be ashamed! I don't think a nickle has been invested in this place in decades! Saw a show last night (awesome bands!) unseasonably warm for October. The place was stifling, the floors are sticky, the beers are $12. The paint is peeling, the chairs are in deplorable condition.... More

I was just at the Orpheum last night to watch Lenny Kravitz rock it good. It was a great show. I was a little apprehensive with some of the reviews I have read. The sound was great, our seats weren't broken, and the staff were super cool. It did seem like some deep cleaning and paint work and maybe new... More

I was there last week for ths Smashing Pumpkins show. What I like about the theatre is that it's right in downtown Boston next to a cool poub where we ended up drinking before the show. Also the theatre itself didnt seem very big so I enjoyed the show, it didn't seem like their was a bad seat in the... More

This theater may be the worst theater in the Northeast, many seats are broken and most are stained and dirty, the ventilation is non -existent, the management is rude and arrogant, the acoustics are terrible. Save your money and if you want to see a musical performance it's worth it to go to New York City rather than this venue.... More

This place has style. Some of the seats were 1/2 broken, but mine was good and comfey. Sound quality was good. Small enough so you can see the stage good from anywhere. Would definately go there again. If you need to stay in the area Club Quarters is a bargin.

I have been to the Orpheum on many ocassions for many concerts and the one thing that seems to remain consrtant is the decrepit condition of the seats and the worst sound system of any venue in the Boston area or anywhere else for that matter. I can tolerate the poor seating but the sound system needs to be completely... More

I just saw Clay Aiken at the Orpheum theater in Boston. Clay was beyond fantastic as usual. I have been to the Wang and the Colonial for shows and I WAS EXPECTING THE ORPHEUM TO BE THE SAME. What a shame. This could be a beautiful place. The sound and size of the theater were excellent. The theater was so... More

this is such a beautiful venue! it is tucked away and not really visible unless you're standing right in front of it... this is an awesome place to see bands. It is similar to symphony hall in the way it was made. the acoustics are great!
