It's atop the Prudential Building. Absolutely gorgeous view of the city! They give you audio devices that narrate information about the important attractions that you see from each side. That's very helpful when looking at the view. It's given you to at no extra cost once you reach upstairs to the Observatory. The admission is not cheap - for three... More

On a clear day you can see forever from the Boston Skywalk Observatory in the Prudential Building. Be sure and take advantage of the free audio tour to get the most out of your visit.

We did the Skywalk on a beautiful clear day, and the 360 degree views of Boston were just amazing. There's also a lot of historical and general information around the walk, which was all very interesting (although I couldn't read all of it as I spend most of the time chasing after a toddler!). Would definitely recommend it, you can... More

Why would you go here when you could go to Top of the Hub and look over the view with a cocktail for a lower admission price?

We visited late in the afternoon and saw both the view in daylight and in the early evening hours when the lights were just beginning to come on. Photos come out fairly well without too many reflections or imperfections, considering you have to shoot through glass. If you are really fussy about hand prints and smudges, bring windex or something.... More

My only regret is not leaving enough time to really peruse everything! My family, including my husband and sons, ages 11, 13 and 15, had only 30 minutes before heading to another tour, so it wasn't enough time spent here. We had a perfectly clear day, which is essential for this attraction. There is a 45 minute free audio tour... More

The price is a little steep but the view is well worth it & now they have a free self-guided audio tour - even have a special one just for the kids! I remember going here ages ago when I was young but recently took my 9 yr old over school vacation. He loved every minute of it - loved... More

I'm a big fan of heading to a city's high point for a general overview, and this is Boston's. $14 may seem like a lot to see some scenery, but this is so much more. When you arrive, you get a handheld device. As you walk around, you punch in numbers at each window, and you get an explanation and... More

If you want to see Boston from 50 stories above the city, this is the place to do it. The Hancock skywalk closed after 9/11. Go on a clear day and the view is amazing. I think the admission is a little high.

It's a sky walk but it's a great way to see a great city!
