Pacific beach is nice but restrooms are awfull. Try to avoid. Beach at the Corronado island is much better

The beach is big and very clean with great houses and shops. Be sure to try The Mission restaurant.

Mission Beach is a taste of San Diego culture. There is a very touristy amusement park on the beach with some shops and carnival-like rides and a few restaurants on the main street and off the boardwalk. I would suggest renting a bike and riding down the beach and around to the bay side to get a nice little tour... More

This beach is easy to get to and you can easily find parking unlike some beaches. We brings visitors here often.

Went here with my wife and we both loved the clean sand, family atmosphere and short walk to parking

Still early in the season but there were a few surfers out catching the waves. Great to watch. Clean beach.

This a great beach to stay on, we stayed it the very tip in a condo and it was perfect. We were able to walk along the beach to the mini carnival that is always there.
