Rent a car or a bike and go there. Se the city, the ships, the pelicans, the humming birds and maybe the whales.

Kids had a blast down here - playing in the tidepools, throwing rocks, exploring the sea life and just enjoying the outdoors.

My husband and I spent a few hours walking around the tide pools at Point Loma. We had so much fun and saw sea anemones and crabs waiting on the tide to come in. It was truly exciting and a site to see.

Such a beautiful spot. There's an interpretive centre with a nature movie, information desk, souvenirs, numerous photo spots and a hike to the lighthouse. Drive down to the Pacific Ocean and watch the wildlife. Very interesting.

Nice area. We were looking for beautiful houses to gauk at and we ended up driving through Point Loma we dead ended at a base and turned around. Nice houses but nicer houses in Coronado.

We drove to Point Loma around 4pm and enjoyed a spectacular view of the Ocean as well as a breathtaking view of the city. Make sure you come early as the monument closes by 5 pm. Also walk down the cemetry for that view.
